LENTEN ORGAN RECITAL

            On Wednesday, March 24, at 12:00 Noon Mr. Tomas Crow will give a thirty minute organ recital at Bethany Christian Church with a Luncheon to follow.  The music played will be of various appropriate pieces chosen for the Lenten Season. 

            Mr. Crow, is the current Organist at Bethany and is also the Chair of the Music Department at The University of St. Thomas.

            If you wish to join us for lunch, a reservation will be required.  You can make a reservation by calling the Bethany Church Office between March 1 and March 22 at 713-523-1609.  The cost for lunch will be $7.50.  Our Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

ADVENT EVENTS, Nov. 29 – Dec. 24

The season of Advent begins Sunday, November 29. We will light the first candle in our Advent wreath that morning in the worship service. An additional candle will be lit every Sunday until Christmas Eve at which time the Christ candle will be lit in the center of the wreath.

Watch this space for information on other Advent events in days to come, and have a blessed season of preparation for the coming of the Christ.
