Beliefs
During 2006 & 2007 the Strategic Planning Committee, as charged by the Official Board, worked on creating new Mission, Vision, and Values Statements. The committee presented draft statements and solicited feedback from the Official Board Officers, Clergy, Staff, and Elder Executive Committee on February 26, the Cabinet on March 2, the Board of Elders on April 4, the PA Class on April 20, the other Sunday School Classes on April 27, the Cabinet retreat on May 16-17, and to the entire congregation in a town hall meeting on May 18. The versions presented here were approved by the Board of Elders on May 25, the Official Church Board on June 1, and by the entire congregation on June 22.
